Opinion: I feel that wiretapping and electronic monitoring of individuals who are unaware that it is going on and without a warrant is not acceptable under any circumstance.
Court Opinion: The court was led to uphold the decision that without establishing probable cause NSA could wiretap and monitor the electronic devices of americans making international connections without a warrant by dismissing the case Clapper v. Amnesty International. However, there is mounting resistance to this ruling and proper procedures are beginning to be enforced.
